Non-Surgical Face Lift

There are two choices when it comes to a non-surgical face lift: Laser treatments or dermal fillers.

Not all non-surgical face lifts are the same. A non-surgical face lift using laser machinery is typically more expensive than a dermal filler with no downtime. The procedure aims to heat the skin on the surface, causing collagen to speed up its growth below the dermis layer to create a fresh, rejuvenated look. The infrared technology tightens and lifts the appearance of the skin. It sounds harmless but the risks include swelling, blistering, scarring or permanent changes in pigmentation. So be aware of new machines that have not been thoroughly tested.

A non-surgical face lift can occur with the use of dermal fillers such as Restylane. The fillers will “fill” fine lines and superficial wrinkles, making the skin’s appearance younger and more vibrant. Dermal fillers can last up to six months to a year depending upon age or genetics. It’s best to speak to a physician or nurse who is trained in injectables for an idea of what results can be expected.
